The track smoothly evolves into a bursting climax underlined with a bassline that won’t let the audience go. Only short before the track winds up, gentle sounds make you feel safe again. Four performing artists help to top the brand new Tagträumer² track of with the diversified reworks of the song. With enormous energy and the necessary power the artists beam the track in the fourth dimension. While “Aaren San” shoots a massive load of his funky and nasty sounds into the Club, “The Minimum” will thrill every AfterHour with their slow and mysterious groove.However, “Seductions” transform the topic “Repetion is change” in a total new way while revealing their passion for the “Sound of Berlin”.

Nach dem Hit “Capisce” auf ihrem eigenen Label und einem Remix für Jalexander schieben die beiden Wahlberliner gleich den nächsten Soundbraten in die Röhre.

Das Original ist ein ziemlich drückender Technotrack mit elektrolastigem Basslauf mit kurzen Breaks im EBM-Gewand. Aaren San verändert die Nummer zwar etwas ins Funkige, überzeugt damit aber genauso wenig wie sein Kollege Electrocker, der wieder zu sehr auf die Tube drückt.

Einzig die Interpretation von The Minimum ist, wie der Name schon sagt, etwas reduzierter aber in diesem Falle keineswegs schlechter. Im Gegenteil, denn mit dem langsamen und mysteriösen Groove rüttelt sie jede Afterhour auf.

das original lebt von seiner brummigen synthie-melodie, die von anfang an ordentlich reinhaut. umgeben von weiteren spannenden sounds und dem schneidigen bass entwickelt sich „repition is change“ zu einem darken electrosmasher. das break fungiert dabei als ruhepol.

der electrocker loves berlin remix beginnt rhythmusbetonter als das original. dann überraschen electrocker mit extravaganten vocals: politiker aus den 60-ern sprechen über die mauer. erst zur mitte bringen electrocker die synthiemelodie ins spiel, die sie quietschig gestalten.

auch aaren san ››› stellt das original in seinem remix auf den kopf. zu einem leicht breaky beat beginnt er das spielt mit filtern und quetscht die synthiemelodie durch. sie steht im zentrum und nebenbei spielt aaren funky soundschnipsel ein, so dass ein sehr verspielter electrohouse-track dabei herauskommt.

der the minimum remix wird seinem namen gerecht und geht’s reduzierter an. hier dreht sich alles um den dunklen groove, wobei sich der track auch als sehr verspielt entpuppt.

die vier versionen auf dieser 12“ sind schön individuell und passen dabei gleichzeitig in dasselbe set. „repetition is change“ ist damit besonders für electrohouse-djs eine spannende platte.
