What would you think about a festival in the heart of Transylvania?

Some people doesn’t believe that this land/region realy exists. They believe it’s only a fantasy, a
story…

You have just to check the east side of the european map and where you can find Romania, the
biggest part of it (located in the NV of it) is the Transylvania region.

The Delahoya Festival hosted in the capital city of Transilvania, named Cluj-Napoca (a city with a
history of more than 2000 years), is the oldest electronic music festival in Romania. Started in 1997
on the Hoia hill near the Hoia forest, the festival took his name from the hill’s and forest’s name
beeing named now Delahoya (that actualy means in romanian language „from Hoia”).

Since 1997 until now, every year, at the begining of the summer, on the 3rd week-end of may,
Delahoya is calling the electronic music fans from entire Romania to celebrate the music and the fun.

2011 will have been the 15th year for delahoya festival. This means 15 years of electronic music, fun,
a general joyful insanity. Moreover, during the past 14 years life-span, Delahoya endured massive
transformations that influenced the entire vision of the festival. Gradually, the festival emerged
from a natural surrounding, like Hoya forest, and after another 3 editions of dancing on the airport’s
area, to a simbol of the urban life-style, in an enormous party tent. The line-up also evolved taking
into consideration that nowadays the line-up consists of very good international artists from many
conutries among with one of the best romanian artists.

So far Delahoya invited artists like Pacou, Oliver Huntemann, Funk D’Void, Valentino Kanzyani, Marco
Lenzi, Tim Taylor, Marko Nastic, Markantonio, Dry, D. Diggler, Pauli Steinbach, Alex Bau, Felipe aka
Philipp Straub, and many, many more…
